JOYCE ANN OTR/L is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais  Practitioner® (GCFP),  trained with Anat Baniel, Registered and Licensed Occupational Therapist, Core in training Masgutova Method for Neuro Sensory Motor Reflex Integration (MNRI), and  certified in Early Intervention (0-3 year olds).  Joyce has worked in medical, educational, industrial, and home settings with clients exhibiting a wide range of physical, emotional, learning, and behavioral difficulties, including infants and children experiencing developmental delays or coordination deficits,  and adults experiencing chronic muscle pain, dementia, poor balance, flexibility and coordination, or difficulty managing stress and tension.  Joyce Ann teaches Feldenkrais Awareness through Movement® classes and provides individual sessions using Building Better Balance.
Building Better Balance enhances self confidence and self-perception. This has a dramatic effect on the individual’s capacity for problem-solving, communication and learning.

Occupational Therapy  evaluates the client’s ability to function in everyday activities which are appropriate for age and skill level. The goal is to restore, reinforce and enhance performance of skills and roles which are essential to productive living, mastery of self and the environment.
The Feldenkrais Method®  is an educational system which uses movement to enhance self-awareness, improve function and teach new  habits by increasing the connections in the brain. Awareness of existing movement patterns,  coupled with new kinesthetic experiences, generates new  possibilities and choices for action, feeling and thought.
The Vestibular Integration Program  assesses and strengthens the client’s ability to perform basic multi-tasking skills and enhance vestibular (balance), auditory, and visual-motor functioning. By automating skills requiring less cognitive attention, the client can focus on higher levels of learning and increase productivity.
